Pastoral Care Disclosure
The HarbourCare Pastoral Care Ministry utilizes members of our Harbour Serve Team under the supervision of our pastors. This group is also known as the Pastoral Support Team. The Pastoral Support Team uses Biblical principles to encourage and support people who are dealing with various life issues. The members of our Pastoral Support Team are non-ordained, unlicensed volunteers and are not professional or licensed counsellors. They only provide Biblically based spiritual support to Harbour Church members requesting this type of ministry. Our Pastoral Support Team will undertake to protect information shared in confidence. However, in situations, including those where this a potential danger or threat to persons or when subject to court order, the Pastoral Support Team may be required to disclose certain information received from you to third persons, including law enforcement authorities. Harbour's Pastoral Support Team reserves the right to take any relevant matters to the Senior Leadership of The Harbour Church.
